“I was told my social security number was showing fraudulent activity and gave a number for me to call to keep my social security number from being blocked permanently.
caller was a male claiming to be a state trooper and asking for donation for the purpose of
being able to increase security help. I believe this was a scammer.
Answer and automated message says congratulation your Marriott hotel booking has been confirmed. 1) I did not book a hotel. 2) since when do hotels call back with automated messages congratulating you for your booking. it also stated please call back and I hung up at this point.
